At Newport Motorsports we take the “Golden Rule” approach to our valued customers. We treat you just like we would want to be treated, and that approach applies to our Return Policy as well. Most products that Newport Motorsports sells are returnable. There is a “Returns” section on each product page on our website that you should reference before purchasing to ensure you understand the return policy for that specific product. Some custom-order or special-order items are not returnable, and will be listed that way on the product page. Otherwise, our standard Return Policy as listed below on this page will apply to your order.

Your return must be pre-authorized by making a return request within 30 calendar days of the purchase date. To request a Return of Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, please complete this Log Onto My Account click sales history, do a search and find the order you want to return, you will see a link under the action next to the order you want to return, fill out the forma and we will process your return.

Authorized returns must be in their complete and original condition and packaging. Returns missing components will not be credited. Parts that have been disassembled or damaged due to incorrect installation will not be credited. We are not responsible for incorrect installation by you and/or your mechanic. We are not responsible for any expenses incurred or caused by the use of wrong or defective parts during installation. These expenses include towing, labor, repair or rental expenses.

The reasons for needing to make a return vary but typically fall under one of the following categories:

 

  • Wrong Product
  • Product Damaged During Shipping
  • Buyer’s Remorse

If you need to return a Faulty Product please do the following:

1. Please Log Onto My Account and follow the instructions above

2. Within 2-3 business days we will email you a pre-paid return label. Print this label out, affix it to your packaging, and take it to a UPS Store, FedEx Drop Location, etc. for mailing.

3. Once we receive the faulty product, we forward it to the manufacturer for product inspection. This can take up to 30 days.

4. When the manufacturer approves the faulty product return we will ship out a new replacement part to you immediately or credit your account.

5. We will email you a tracking number for your new shipment.

If you need to return the Wrong Product please do the following:

1. Please Log Onto My Account and follow the instructions above

2. If you ordered the wrong part, within 2-3 business days we will email you an RMA Number and the correct return warehouse address to use when shipping the product back to us.

3. If we sent you the wrong part, within 2-3 business days we will email you a pre-paid return label. Print this label out, affix it to your packaging, and take it to a UPS Store, FedEx Drop Location, etc. for mailing.

4. When we receive the wrong part back from you, we will ship out the correct product with 2 business day.

5. We will then email you a tracking number for your new shipment.

If you need to return a Product Damaged During Shipping please do the following:

1. Please Log Onto My Account and follow the instructions above

2. Do not discard the damaged packaging. We will file a shipping claim with UPS / FedEx and they will be returning to pick up the damaged package.

3. If you have a digital camera or cell phone with a camera, please take a picture(s) of the damaged part and/or shipping box and contact us for an email address to send the picture to.

4. Please repackage the item(s) in its original shipping package and we will arrange for its return.

5. Once the shipper has picked up the damaged package(s), we will ship out a new part(s) to you immediately. Depending on your part, we may deliver the new product at the same time we pick up the damaged part.

6. We will email you a tracking number for your new shipment.

If you have Buyer’s Remorse and want or need to return the product please do the following:

1. Please Log Onto My Account and follow the instructions above

2. Within 2-3 business days we will email you an RMA Number and the correct return warehouse address to use when shipping the product back to us.

3. Once we receive the product at our warehouse, it will be inspected. Products that you have damaged, used, or installed will not receive a credit. Products that have simply been returned to us in acceptable new condition will receive a credit.

4. Within 10-15 business days of receiving the acceptable product at our warehouse, your credit card will be issued a credit of 80% of your original purchase price. A 20% restocking fee will be charged to offset credit card transaction fees, shipping charges, etc.

5. If you refuse the original shipment, when the product is returned to our warehouse by our shipper service, your credit card will be issued a credit of 80% of your original purchase price. The same 20% restocking fee applies.
